The Day The Music Died Coming To Big Sandy Music Hall - 02/18/17!

COMING TO BIG SANDY TEXAS FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY...
~ "THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED - 58 WINTERS LATER" ~
It was in February of 1959 when the three biggest stars of the day — Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. Richardson "The Big Bopper" — played their final show. The next day the talented trio died in a small plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa.
Fifty-Eight Years Later, the music lives on because three talented men will take to the stage to honor them, playing some of the greatest songs of all time in “The Day the Music Died Production.”
The show features Shea Birdwell as Buddy Holly, Rafael Espinoza as Ritchie Valens, and Gib Maynard as The Big Bopper.
“The Day The Music Died” is an entertaining production honoring these rock & roll legends while educating the community on the history of this iconic American music and its influence on today’s culture. They will also show the impact it has had on them personally.
“The Day the Music Died” is one night only, Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at the Big Sandy Music Hall located at 100 S. Tyler Street.
